This calculator estimates the duty of a single crushing stage with Bond’s third law: W = 10·CWi·(1/√P80 − 1/√F80) with the crushing work index CWi (typically 5–25 kWh/t), giving specific energy, net power at the shell and a recommended installed motor power with a 15% margin. It also reports the reduction ratio and a recommended closed-side-setting range tied to the product top size and the selected crusher type.
